FashionGo Offers Consolidated Shipping, A Cost Saving and Convenient Shipping Service
LOS ANGELES, December 18. 2011 — FashionGo, the leading B2B wholesale e-commerce marketplace that enables the fashion industry to connect and discover new opportunities, today announced a Consolidated Shipping service allowing retailers to receive order from multiple vendors all in a single shipment
FashionGo’s Consolidated Shipping service includes over 500+ participating vendors with orders processed through FashionGo’s warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles. From there, all qualified orders will be shipped into a single shipment, saving retailers up to 27% on shipping costs. Consolidated Shipping will streamline the shipment process and reduce the need for retailers to track multiple packages, giving them more time to focus on selling and less on delivery coordination.
Participating vendors will have a Consolidated Shipping icon on the top right corner of the vendor’s home page and item details page. Once checking out, a “Yes, Consolidate Order” icon will appear to apply Consolidated Shipping for orders when a cart contains at least 2 items or more from participating vendors. Each participating vendor will deliver the ordered items to FashionGo within 2 business days from the order date and FashionGo will combine the order packages into one shipment with a single tracking number. Consolidated Shipping is only limited to in-stock items and will only ship domestic in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. To date, over 3,200 buyers use Consolidated Shipping with over 50,000 total Consolidated Shipments fulfilled.
